According to the evidence under review, a 26-year-old food delivery driver went to the Mouttalos area to deliver a food order.
Upon his arrival at the delivery location, an unknown man, accompanied by three other individuals, refused to pay for the order and then attacked the 26-year-old by throwing a rock at him.
The 26-year-old alerted other delivery drivers, who went to the scene, while at the same time, about ten unknown men arrived in the area, some of whom were reportedly carrying metal objects.
The unknown men attacked the delivery drivers, while also knocking their motorcycles to the ground and damaging them.
Subsequently, four of the unknown men left in their vehicle and headed toward Mouttalo, where they encountered a 22-year-old delivery driver who had just completed a delivery.
Three of the suspects got out of the vehicle and, after attacking him, managed to steal a sum of money and his cell phone before fleeing the area in an unknown direction.
Five delivery drivers were injured in the incident and were transported by ambulance to Paphos General Hospital. After being examined by the on-duty physician, it was determined that they had sustained various injuries. Four were discharged, while one remained hospitalized for further treatment.
The Paphos Traffic Accident Investigation Unit is continuing its investigation.
