Another tragedy has occurred off the coast of Limassol, claiming the life of a 21-year-old foreign national. The young man appears to have been with a friend in the area of the city’s old harbor.
According to reports, he was from Afghanistan. While on the pier of the old port with an acquaintance, the young man dove into the water but was unable to resurface, resulting in his tragic death.

According to the same reports, the 21-year-old did not appear to be a strong swimmer.
The exact causes are expected to be determined by the autopsy.
