The Spanish midfielder left the field shortly before the end of the first half, causing concern among the “Blaugrana” staff, especially given his history of injuries to the same knee.

However, medical tests put an end to the anxiety, as they confirmed that it is only a contusion on his right knee. Gavi is expected to return to training soon, though it remains to be seen whether he will play in the next match against Athletic Bilbao.
He wanted to reassure Barcelona fans via social media, thanking those who are always by his side.
“Thank you to everyone who is always with me, supports me, and sticks with me until the end. I don’t see soccer any other way. I’m sorry I caused you so much worry,” he wrote.
