The National Guard is designing its own unmanned aerial systems.

As we watch on our screens, the operator wears special goggles and sees exactly what the drone is recording. Operating it requires quick reflexes, practice, and concentration.

These drones can be used for aerial surveillance and reconnaissance, gathering information and transmitting real-time imagery to their operators.

This capability marks a significant step in the technological and operational transformation of the National Guard, enhancing its autonomy, flexibility, and speed of adaptation to the demands of the modern battlefield.

The 12th Technical Battalion now operates a workshop where these unmanned aerial systems are manufactured. Specially trained personnel will be instructed in their operation.

The Commander of the National Guard visited the newly established Small Unmanned Aerial Systems Production Laboratory, where he was briefed on the new capabilities the force is acquiring.
