Juventus’s 1-0 victory on the road against newly promoted Frosinone on Sunday in the Serie A opener will prove to be a “Pyrrhic victory,” as Kenan Yildiz injured his left leg and had to be substituted. Reputable Italian media outlets reported that initial examinations of the Turkish international attacking midfielder revealed a fracture in his left leg.
As a result, Yildiz will likely need surgery to repair the injury, and if the initial assessments are confirmed, he will be sidelined for two to three months.
