The president of the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO), Makis Gagatsis, stated on the “Diki ston SKAI” program that even if the Greek Cup final is between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos, the federation’s intention is for the match to be played in front of a large crowd of fans from both teams at the OAKA. Provided, of course, that the Hellenic Police (EL.AS.) allows it.
“I want to say that we’re also lucky that no Big-4 teams played each other. But even in that case, the final would have been held at the OAKA with fans. Even if it were Olympiacos vs. Panathinaikos. I don’t think the police would ban anything. We 100% want it with fans,” said the president of the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO).
