Oliver Zelenika first came to public attention while playing for APOEL and later for AEK.
The latest development, however, concerns the “blue-and-yellows,” who, despite having released him, did not give up on the Croatian player and ultimately reached a final agreement with both the goalkeeper’s camp and Varaždin.

The delay was due to the embargo imposed on the Nicosia club, but since the payment has been made and the embargo will soon be officially lifted, Zelenika will come to Cyprus and join APOEL’s roster.
