A U.S. military transport aircraft landed today at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport, according to data from the flight tracking service Flightradar24.
The U.S.-registered Boeing Globemaster, with tail number 07-7181, flew directly from Riga, Latvia, and landed in Moscow around 10:00 a.m. Greek time.
Reuters was unable to verify whether it was carrying cargo or passengers.
The Kremlin stated that it has no information regarding the aircraft.

The aircraft had arrived in Riga on August 23 from the U.S. Air Force base Camp Springs, near Washington, D.C., according to data from Flightradar24.
The last direct flight by a U.S.-registered aircraft to Russia from Europe took place this past January and carried Special Envoys Stephen Whitcomb and Jared Kousner for peace talks with Vladimir Putin regarding Ukraine.
The Kremlin stated last week that there is still no information regarding a new visit by Kushner and Whitcomb to Moscow, as talks between the U.S. and Russia on Ukraine have largely stalled amid the war in Iran.
