After setting an all-time single-season assist record and never ceasing in his efforts to ensure that Manchester United benefits from his actions and hard work in every game, Bruno Fernandes’ contribution has been recognized.
The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) named him Player of the Year, and given the “Red Devils’” game-changer’s background, this holds special significance.
He becomes the first Portuguese player in the Premier League since Cristiano Ronaldo to earn the respect and votes of his peers, with “CR7” having won this award in 2007 and 2008.
