Carlos Baleba will now call Manchester home for the next five years, as United announced his signing from Brighton.
In fact, the 22-year-old midfielder’s contract with the “Red Devils,” which runs through 2031, includes an option to extend it for an additional year.
The financial details of Balemba’s transfer were not disclosed, however, reports on the Island indicate that United will initially pay the “Seagulls” 70 million euros, with additional bonuses also expected.
The Cameroonian midfielder was acquired by Brighton in 2023 from Lille, and has since made 112 appearances in all competitions, and last season he played in 31 Premier League matches.
