The draw for the League Phase of the new Champions League season is set for this coming Thursday (August 27 – 7:30 p.m.), and as of now, two specific matchups know that what they’ve… gotten used to over the past two years will no longer apply.
More specifically, following a post by Liverpool that caused quite a stir, it became widely known —since it was something either few people knew or no one remembered—that the same matchup at the same stadium cannot occur in three consecutive seasons.

Consequently, both the Liverpool–Real Madrid match and the Inter–Arsenal match at “Anfield” and “San Siro,” respectively, will be avoided and cannot be drawn in the draw on the 27th of the month.
