At their meeting today, the two leaders assessed the progress made in accordance with the roadmap established during the UN Secretary-General’s recent visit to the island and agreed to intensify their discussions by meeting once a week and more frequently if circumstances require, according to a statement from the “presidency” of the pseudo-state.
As reported in the occupied territories, it is added that they also agreed that the members of the Coordinating Committee of the Civil Society Advisory Body will be announced tomorrow.

The meeting between the two leaders was described as constructive, and it is reported that “the two leaders once again expressed their deepest appreciation to UN Secretary-General António Guterres, for his recent visit to the island, as well as for his continued support and commitment to efforts to resolve the Cyprus problem.”
It should be noted that the Turkish Cypriot leader, Tufan Erhurman, did not make any statement before or after his meeting with President Nicos Christodoulides, which took place on Wednesday afternoon at the offices of the UN Good Offices Missionat Nicosia Airport.
