The big moment has arrived for AEK, which, following its triumph over Levski Sofia and its return to the Champions League, will find out in Monaco who its opponents will be in the League Phase of Europe’s top club competition tonight (August 27) at 7:00 p.m.
Marko Nikolić’s team is in Pot 4 and will be drawn against eight different opponents, two from each group, with four home games in Nea Filadelfia and four away games.

Group 1 features giants such as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Barcelona, while the second and third groups also feature very strong teams.
The League Phase consists of eight matchdays, with the first two taking place in September and the last two in January 2027. The top eight teams in the final standings advance directly to the “Round of 16,” while teams ranked 9th through 24th enter the playoffs.
