Olympiacos is moving full steam ahead to finalize one of the three signings it is expected to make in the near future.
According to an Italian journalist, the “Red-and-Whites’” signing of Marcus Pendersen appears to be a done deal. An agreement has been reached with Torino for 8 million euros (6 million euros + 2 million euros in bonuses), and the player will sign a four-year contract.
In fact, he is expected to fly from Turin to Athens tonight, and tomorrow he will undergo the necessary medical exams and sign his contract with the Piraeus-based club.
“Torino has reached an agreement with Olympiacos for Pedersen. The transfer fee is approximately 8 million. The player will sign a 4-year contract. He will leave Turin tonight. Medicals and signing tomorrow,” reports Orazio Acomando.
Petersen is 26 years old and can also play on the left; last year, Torino acquired him for 3.6 million euros from Feyenoord. He has also played for Sassuolo, Molde, Tromsø, and has earned 36 caps for his national team, scoring 1 goal—which came during the recent World Cup where he played for the “Vikings.”
