Police today arrested two women, aged 25 and 26, as part of an investigation into a case involving the receipt of stolen goods and the operation of a brothel.
The two women are being investigated for the offenses of conspiracy to commit a felony, conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor, receiving stolen property, and operating a brothel.
The arrest followed a complaint filed by a 23-year-old man regarding the theft of 6,700 euros.

As part of the investigation into the complaint, members of the Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department conducted a search of an apartment where the money stolen from the 23-year-old was found, while offenses related to operating a brothel were also uncovered.
The two occupants of the apartment, aged 25 and 26, who were brought before the Larnaca District Court today, which issued an eight-day detention order against them.
The Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department is continuing its investigation.
