The Greek national basketball team is departing this afternoon with twelve players on a charter flight to Riga, Latvia, where it will face Ukraine on Friday (7:00 p.m.) in a crucial World Cup qualifying match.
Dimitris Flionis has not recovered from his injury and will not be able to help the team in any games, while Dimitris Moraitis and Nikos Persidis have also been left off the roster.
The 12 players for this game—since the rules do not preclude changes from game to game within the same “window”—are Kostas Papanikolaou, Nick Calathes, Giannoulis Larentzakis, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Dinos Mitoglou, Panagiotis Kalaitzakis, Kostas Antetokounmpo, Vasilis Toliopoulos, Tyler Dorsey, Nasos Bazinas, Omiros Netzipoglou, and Antonis Karagiannidis.
