The Minister of Transport, Communications, and Public Works, Evi Tsolaki, and the Minister of Justice, Costas Fytiris, were at Larnaca Airport this morning, as part of a meeting and on-site briefing regarding issues related to the airport’s operations, as well as the processes leading up to Cyprus’s accession to the Schengen Area.
The two ministers made no statements.
The meeting participants were given a tour of the area in front of the Arrivals Hall, where a traffic lane has been opened on the road in front of the airport.
This was followed by a tour of the facilities inside Larnaca Airport, as part of the ongoing process for Cyprus’s accession to the Schengen Area.
