Manchester City appears to be close to a major signing, according to a report by Fabrizio Romano. As the renowned reporter notes, the “Citizens” have reached a final agreement to sign Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernández, but for the deal to be finalized, Chelsea’s demands must be met.
Both sides are committed to a contract through 2032, with the 25-year-old having been acquired in 2023 from Benfica for 121 million euros. As reported in *To Nisi*, the London club is not willing to budge from the 100 million euros they are demanding.
City—which is AEK’s opponent in the Champions League group stage—sees Enzo as the replacement for the player who moved to Barcelona.

The deal depends on a club-to-club decision, as #MCFC has not yet submitted an official bid, but talks will take place soon; the decision on the price is up to Chelsea.
