Just as they did against Newcastle a week ago—managing to come away from the north of England with a 2-2 draw thanks to a penalty by Soboslai in stoppage time—Liverpool once again, in the final minutes of the match against Nottingham Forest, Liverpool found a way to stay in the game.
Of course, two points in the first two matchdays is by no means a satisfactory haul for the “Reds,” who drew 2-2 with Nottingham Forest in their first home game of this season’s league campaign.
Glasner’s team, with tremendous discipline, faith in its game plan, and flawless execution of that plan to secure a result at Merseyside, obviously accepts the point, but would have much preferred to have avoided Muñoz’s spectacular goal that decided the match.
