Olympiacos announced the signing of Markus Holmgren Pedersen, strengthening the right side of its defense with a player who has extensive experience in Serie A, the Eredivisie, and European competitions.
The Norwegian international has made 36 appearances for his national team and, at the recent World Cup, played four times during the team’s impressive run to thesemifinals.

“Olympiacos FC announces the signing of Markus Holmgren Pedersen.
The Norwegian international, born on July 16, 2000, was playing in Italy for Torino, for whom he made 64 appearances.
In 2021, he was signed by Feyenoord (89 appearances, one goal, and seven assists), and during the 2023–2024 season, he played for Sassuolo.
Before moving to the Netherlands, Pedersen played for Tromsø IL and Molde FK. Our team’s new signing has made 87 appearances in Serie A, 60 in the Eredivisie, 14 in the Europa League, and 10 in the Conference League.
He has 36 caps with the Norwegian national team, and at the recent World Cup, he played four times as his national team made an impressive run to the quarterfinals.
