Panetolikos took revenge on Kalamata to start this year’s league season with a 2-2 draw!
The Agrinio-based team, just a few days after its recent defeat and elimination from the Superbet Greek Cup by the Messinians, secured a 2-0 home victory and, for the first time in its history, is off to a perfect start with two wins in its first two Stoiximan Super League matches! On the other hand, Kalamata remains at 0 points, following its opening-day loss to Aris.
Granath opened the scoring in the 27th minute with a goal that was a carbon copy of the one he scored in Panetolikos’ season opener against Asteras AKTOR, while the final 2-0 score was set in the 90’+3′ in the very last play of the match, with a goal by Souma.
The lineups:
Panetolikos (Yiannis Anastasiou): Koutserenko – Mavrias, Granath, Stajic, Manrique – Satsias (78’ Nakaba), Esteban (78’ Souma), Kojic (64’ Erakovic) – Basi, Genepo (78’ Aleksic), Mejia (58’ Banji)
