Pepe Sierra, a Colombian journalist, posted information on social media stating that the Gustavo Puerta situation is not only back on the table for Olympiacos but has also become a top priority.
According to what this journalist reported in X, Vangelis Marinakis and his associates are making a strong push for Puerta and are trying to convince him to sign with Nottingham Forest so that Olympiacos can benefit from this deal.
Given the ownership ties between the English club and the Piraeus-based team, Puerta, if and when a deal is reached, will be loaned to José Luis Medilibar’s team so he can also play in the Europa League!
Evangelos Marinakis and his group are back in the running for Gustavo Puerta (23), who has become their top priority. They’re offering the Colombian a contract with #NottinghamForest and a loan this season to #Olympiacos so he can play in the Europa League.
