The “Greens” are determined to capitalize on their home-field advantage and secure their first three points, getting off to the best possible start in domestic competition, following their qualification for the Europa League Phase and their victory over Sint-Truiden (4-2).
On the other hand, Okká’s team will look to catch their opponent off guard and come away with points from their… home turf, despite being the underdog. This will be the “Doves’” first official match, unlike last year’s champions, who already have six games under their belts.
Henning Berg is expected to rotate the lineup to give some players a breather—those who were heavily relied upon in European competition—while also giving others a chance to find their rhythm. Odomaj and Aiting are out, while new signing Thomas Kaminski has been included in the roster.
