According to reports from Colombia, Richard Ríos is the Saudis’ top choice for midfield and is leaving Benfica to continue his career in Riyadh!

As Pipe Ríos claims, the 26-year-old midfielder for Lisbon’s “Eagles” will join Al-Ittihad on a one-year loan, though there is no purchase option. In fact, the same report states that Al-Ittihad will cover the entirety of Ríos’s salary, which will amount to 3 million euros.
Richard Ríos (26) has reached a verbal agreement with #AlIttihad to sign a one-year contract. The Saudi club will acquire him on loan WITHOUT a buyout option from #Benfica. They will cover his salary with a substantial raise and pay 3M€ out of pocket. They are expediting the paperwork to make the announcement.
