The sunken catamaran has been located off the coast of occupied Kyrenia, as announced on Wednesday by the Turkish Cypriot leader, Tufan Erhürman, announced on Wednesday in a post on social media.
As reported in the occupied territories, the Turkish Cypriot leader wrote that “the TCG Alemdar has also arrived. It is equipped with the same technology as the TCG Işın. We have reached the vessel. Search and rescue operations are continuing 24 hours a day. They will continue without interruption,” he added.

It should be noted that yesterday afternoon, Mr. Erhürman announced that the Turkish research vessel Işın had located an object at a depth of 550 meters that was likely the sunken ship.
