The Larnaca CID arrested four more individuals today in connection with the incidents that occurred during a Nea Salamina supporters' gathering in Larnaca, and also issued two new arrest warrants.
According to the head of the Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department, Giorgos Charalambous, the individuals in question include a 27-year-old Greek Cypriot, as well as three minors, also Greek Cypriots, aged 17, 15, and 14.
With these four new arrests, the total number of individuals arrested in connection with the case now stands at twelve.
At the same time, as Mr. Charalambous noted, two arrest warrants have been issued for two additional Greek Cypriots, aged 23 and 16, who are currently wanted.
The arrested individuals are expected to appear tomorrow before the Larnaca District Court, where the police will request that they be remanded in custody.
The Larnaca CID’s investigation is ongoing, with the aim of locating the remaining suspects, as well as identifying the other 18 suspects who have been identified in the course of the investigation.
