Olympiacos is strengthening its defense with the signing of Mark Tamás, as the 32-year-old Hungarian center back has signed a one-year contract.
He is a player with extensive experience in European leagues, having made 318 club appearances while playing in Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Azerbaijan.
Another significant highlight of his career is his time with his country’s national team.
In detail: “Olympiakos Nicosia announces the signing of 32-year-old Hungarian defender Márk Tamás, who has signed a one-year contract.
Márk, who stands 1.94 m tall, plays as a center back, is left-footed, and has significant experience in European leagues.
In his professional career to date, he has made 318 club appearances, including 174 in Hungary’s First Division and 47 in Poland’s Ekstraklasa.
He has played for, among others, Diósgyőri VTK, Puskás Akadémia, Śląsk Wrocław, Sepsi OSK, and Neftçi Baku, gaining experience in the leagues of Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Azerbaijan.
He has also represented the Hungarian Men’s National Team, making his debut in 2021.
During his career, he has won the Romanian Cup and the Romanian Super Cup with Sepsi OSK, and has also made appearances in European competitions.
