Luis Enrique’s Paris Saint-Germain is one of the most successful and consistent teams in Europe, having now been crowned European champion twice. The team from the French capital won back-to-back Champions League titles in the 2024–25 and 2025–26 seasons, defeating Arsenal in a penalty shootout in the final.
Thus, despite the significant additions of Ferran Torres, Mika Goetz, Lucas Dean, and Magne Aklius, one of the team’s key objectives for maintaining its core—following the renewal of Dembélé’s contract—is to extend its partnership with Kvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Beyond the debate over who should be considered the most important player for the “Parisians,” the Georgian winger’s importance to the team is undeniable. Kvaratskhelia has been one of the players who contributed most to the French team’s first two European titles in its history.
Since joining the French champions in January 2025 from Napoli, for approximately 70 million euros, he has managed to make his mark in the French capital and become one of the team’s key players.
In the 2025–26 season alone, Kvaratskhelia scored 19 goals and recorded 10 assists in 48 appearances, celebrating victories in the French Super Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, the Intercontinental Cup, Ligue 1, and the Champions League.
Now, according to “L’Equipe,” Paris Saint-Germain has submitted an offer to renew his contract, as the player is highly regarded both for his performances on the field and for his importance in the locker room. Luis Enrique’s team wants to make him one of the cornerstones of its project.
