Olympiacos is participating in the friendly tournament in Crete, hoping to fine-tune its team and be as ready as possible for the start of the season in a few days.
Before the start of today’s practice, Tyler Dorsey spoke with “Amerikanos24” and was asked about his contract, which expires at the end of the season.
The Greek-American guard revealed that, at the moment, he is nowhere near reaching an agreement with the Piraeus-based team. Nevertheless, he noted that he has made it clear to the “red-and-whites” since the end of last season that his desire is to remain with the team…
“My goal is never to do anything for reasons like that. I play the same way every year. I do the same things every year. At the moment, we’re nowhere near a deal. I’ve told them I want to stay here ever since the season ended. That’s out of my control. I can only control the things that depend on me. So, here we are. As for my future, we’ll see what happens. My focus isn’t there. I just want to start the season in the best possible way and do what I usually do. I’m not changing my approach when it comes to certain things. My mindset is the same,” he said.
