Shock at Olympiacos over Ayoub El Kaabi, as the initial diagnosis following his serious injury in the match against Volos indicates a tibia fracture.
The Moroccan forward was injured in the first half of the match at Panthessaliko Stadium, in a moment that left everyone stunned, as he was carried off the field on a stretcher and immediately transported to the hospital.
El Kaabi is expected to undergo surgery on Sunday to treat the fracture. Afterward, there will be a clearer picture of exactly how long he will be out.
Although the length of his absence is not yet known, recovery from this type of injury is a long process and typically takes at least 6–7 months.
