Tensions appear to have flared up outside the GSP Stadium on Sunday afternoon, before the start of the match between APOEL and AEL.
According to reports so far, fans of the two teams apparently encountered each other in the area surrounding the stadium, resulting in a minor altercation.

In fact, according to the same reports, a fire broke out in dry grass, fortunately without spreading, as it was immediately extinguished by members of the Fire Department, who were already on the scene.
The incident ended with the immediate intervention of police officers.
At the same time, according to the police, a fan was arrested after a flare was found in his possession as he entered the stadium.
It should be noted that, due to the high-risk nature of the match, security measures remain significantly heightened, both inside and outside the stadium, and the police riot control vehicle “Aiantas” is also stationed at the GSP grounds.
