The police proceeded to arrest three individuals for various offenses, including illegal possession of drugs and illegal possession of property, and also filed charges against several others.
According to the police, as part of operations conducted last Sunday night, 568 vehicles were stopped for inspection and 715 individuals traveling in them were checked. At the same time, 46 inspections were carried out at premises to address illegal activities, resulting in 3 complaints.
During the traffic checks that were carried out, 421 citations were issued for various traffic violations, and 11 cases of traffic violations are currently under investigation.
Of the citations issued, 150 were for speeding, and as part of the police investigations, 10 vehicles were impounded.
A total of 92 breathalyzer tests were conducted, resulting in 2 citations, as well as 7 preliminary drug tests, with 4 positive results.
