Members of the Limassol Police Department handcuffed one of their colleagues, after arresting him on suspicion of stealing an electric scooter that had been seized as evidence and was being held at a police station in connection with a case currently under investigation by the authorities.
According to reports, the police officer is expected to be placed on administrative leave following instructions from police leadership.

The electric scooter had been taken to a police station by the officer who had confiscated it, but it was discovered that by evening it had “vanished.” An investigation was conducted, and it was determined that the suspect officer had placed it in his vehicle.
