For eleven years, the Allwyn Cyprus 3×3 Series has demonstrated that sports can bring people, communities, and experiences together. An institution that goes beyond the boundaries of competitive play, promoting participation, inclusion, and connection with local communities throughout Cyprus.
This year’s event culminated on the weekend of September 5 and 6 at the Limassol Pier, at the “Pavlos Kontidis” Pier, where the 12 teams that stood out in the six tournaments held throughout the year competed for the title of 2026 Cyprus Champion. The winning team also secured a spot in an international tournament in Greece in 2027.
Beyond the competitive excitement, the audience had the opportunity to watch wheelchair athletes compete, reaffirming Allwyn’s commitment to equal access to sports for all. The program also included a sports workshop titled “CHAMPIONSHIP: The Resilience Behind Every First,” featuring Lazaros Papadopoulos, Milan Trajkovic, and Nektarios Alexandrou, who shared their experiences regarding the perseverance and resilience required on the path to success.
Recognized by FIBA, the Allwyn Cyprus 3×3 Series traveled this year from Nicosia and Paphos to Omodos, Larnaca, Protaras, and Limassol, offering thrilling athletic experiences to thousands of participants and spectators. Each stop helped strengthen the connection between sports and local communities and showcased Cyprus’s cultural and natural heritage.
On September 5 and 6, all paths led to Limassol for the grand finale of yet another successful year. However, the greatest victory of the Allwyn Cyprus 3×3 Series isn’t measured solely in baskets and trophies. It’s measured in the experiences, the moments we shared, and the human stories that unfolded at every stop along the way.
Allwyn is there for every moment of the game. It stands alongside the effort, the joy of participation, the power of the team, and the dreams born through sports. Because the most important moments aren’t just the ones you win, but also the ones you share.
