Shocking images from a kindergarten in Larnaca—which is operating normally—have been brought to light by Dimitris Souglis, a member of parliament for Direct Democracy.
Speaking on the Alpha Kalimera show, he clarifies that he is not referring to all kindergartens but to a specific one, about which complaints have been filed on several occasions.

Regarding this specific case, complaints had been filed on numerous occasions with the Welfare Office, health authorities, even the police, and the relevant ministry—the Ministry of Education.
Mr. Souglis also alleges that threats were made against individuals who wanted to bring the issue to light. “Parents and staff members contacted me, they wanted to remain anonymous because, as they told me, they had received threats in the past when they tried to bring this issue to public attention,” he states.
According to information received by Mr. Souglis, the kindergarten’s operations have been suspended since 2024, yet it continues to operate.
He calls on citizens to report such incidents wherever they see them and to be particularly careful about where they send their children.
