Lorent Moron and Frangi Pierro are on AEL’s radar to bolster the offense.
The latest development concerns the Spanish forward, and according to a report by gazzetta.gr, the transfer of the Aris Thessaloniki player is unlikely to go through, for financial reasons, as reported.
Morón’s contract amounts to 1 million euros, and the Limassol-based team is not willing to cover a large portion of it.
Here is the excerpt from the article: “…At the same time, Laurent Moron is reportedly being targeted by AEL Limassol; to be precise, the Cypriot club is weighing his case against that of Aris’s Spanish striker and AEK’s Pierro. According to Gazzetta, it is extremely difficult for Moron’s transfer to move forward, at least for financial reasons.
It is clear that the experienced forward is Michalis Gregoriou’s fourth choice at the striker position; however, he has a contract worth 1,000,000 euros, and AEL Limassol is not willing to cover a significant portion of it. Based on the current situation, it will be difficult to reach an agreement. Conditions will be met only if the Cypriot team covers the overwhelming majority of the player’s contract with Aris and, of course, if the player himself accepts the prospect of moving to Cyprus.”
