PAOK continues to be very active in the transfer market, having already made significant moves to strengthen the team, though it does not yet consider its roster complete. The name of Mihajlo Ivanović is now in the spotlight as a potential option for the top of the attack, while at Toumba they are keeping open the possibility of yet another addition to the center of the defense.
The 21-year-old Serbian forward from Millwall is one of the players who has made it onto PAOK’s transfer radar. He is a player with significant room for growth, though his case presents a major challenge, as he has attracted interest from several European clubs.
According to Serbian media reports, Millwall’s asking price for his transfer is close to 11 million euros, a fact that significantly increases the difficulty of the deal. Ivanović moved to England from Vojvodina in the summer of 2024 and has since managed to significantly boost his stock, delivering strong performances with the English team. His name is on PAOK’s list, though no advanced agreement has been reached at this stage.
At the same time, the Thessaloniki club continues to explore the market for reinforcements on the defensive end. Although they have already signed Aritz Elustondo, Pantelis Hatzidiakos, and Diego Costa, the possibility of adding another center back has not been ruled out. PAOK officials are evaluating available options and remain on the lookout for an opportunity that could bring additional quality and depth to the roster.
The signing of a center back is not currently considered a done deal; however, the demands of the season and the heavy competitive schedule keep this particular “window” open. Should an opportunity arise that meets both the team’s on-field and financial needs, PAOK is ready to act.
Meanwhile, Kristijan Jakic is already in Thessaloniki, having arrived to finalize his transfer from Augsburg. The 29-year-old Croatian defensive midfielder is being acquired on loan, with PAOK paying 500,000 euros to the German club and retaining a buyout option of 4 million euros. Jakić is expected to be immediately available to Alessio Lisi, providing additional options in midfield as well as on the flanks of the defense.
At the same time, Alessio Lisi must also manage the absence of Dimitris Giannoulis. Medical examinations of the Greek international fullback following his injury in the derby against Panathinaikos revealed a second-degree ankle sprain, with his recovery time estimated at three to four weeks.
