The Limassol Criminal Court’s decision regarding the four defendants in the case of the murder of Thanasis Kalogeropoulos will not be announced today after all.
According to a statement from the Criminal Court, “unfortunately, due to the large volume of testimony, it has not been possible to complete the drafting of the final verdict.”
The court set a new date for sentencing: October 23.
It should be recalled that the mafia-style execution shocked all of Cyprus, as it took place at 8:30 a.m. on October 30, in a tourist area in Limassol, in full view of terrified bystanders.
Kalogeropoulos’s killers set up a deadly ambush for him.
