The big Thessaloniki derby between PAOK and Aris will feature an Italian presence and stands out on the schedule for Matchday 4 of the Stoiximan Super League.
Italian referee Andrea Colombo has been assigned to the match at Toumba Stadium, which will take place on Sunday, September 13, at 9:00 p.m. His assistants will be Giuseppe Perotti and Giorgio Peretti, while Michalis Matsoukas will serve as the fourth official.

The VAR team for the derby will also be Italian, with Marco Di Bello serving as VAR and Ivan Pecutto as AVAR. Antonia Kokotou will serve as the referee observer.
Andrea Colombo has already officiated two Stoiximan Super League matches, both of which were Olympiacos–AEK derbies. On April 13, 2025, he officiated the 1-0 Olympiacos–AEK playoff match, in a match that was particularly “eventful” in terms of disciplinary decisions, with six yellow and four red cards. He returned to the Greek league on May 17, 2026, for the AEK–Olympiacos 1–1 match, where he also issued six yellow cards, with no red cards. In total, the Italian has officiated two Super League matches, issuing 12 yellow and four red cards.
As for the rest of this round’s matches, Anastasios Papapetrou will officiate the match between Asteras Aktor and AEK, while Konstantinos Tsetsilas has been assigned to the Kifisia-Levadiakos game.
Stavros Tsimenteridis will referee the Panathinaikos vs. Panetolikos match, while Vasileios Fotiadis will referee the match between Olympiacos and OFI at the “G. Karaiskakis” Stadium.
Vasilis Fitsas has been assigned to the Kallithea vs. Volos match, according to the referee schedule, while Eleftherios Katopis will officiate the Heraklis vs. Atromitos match.
However, the main focus however, is focused on Toumba, where the selection of a foreign referee and an all-Italian officiating crew underscores the importance of the derby between PAOK and Aris.
