Relatives, friends, and representatives of the country’s state and political leadership will say their final “goodbye” tomorrow to Popi Christoforou, the mother of the twin National Guard soldiers, Miltos and Christos Christoforou, who were killed in the deadly explosion at the “Evangelos Florakis” Naval Base in Mari.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Church in Limassol, and the Police, in cooperation with the Limassol Municipality Traffic Department, have implemented traffic arrangements in the area due to the large number of citizens expected to attend.
To avoid inconvenience and to ensure the safe arrival and departure of attendees, those planning to go to the church are urged to avoid using their vehicles and to use the available parking areas in the area. Specifically, the following may be used:
- the multi-story municipal parking garage on Salaminos Street,
- the municipal parking lots in Epichosi, as well as
- other municipal parking lots in the area.
Those who, out of necessity, must travel to the church by car are asked to use Zinonos Street, heading south, as only the eastern entrance will remain open to vehicles for access to the church.
