According to a report by “sport-fm.gr,” Tasos Hatzigiovanis has agreed to terms and will continue his career with OFI.
As reported, the Greek winger will leave Omonia after one season and join the Cretan club on a contract through the end of the current season.
This frees up a spot on the “Greens’” A-list so that Akintola can be registered.
The report: “The strong interest had never been denied; however, there was still some ground to cover before an agreement could be reached. And finally, an agreement was reached, with Tasos Hatzigiovannis becoming an OFI player!
The Greek winger is leaving Omonia and returning to the Stoiximan Super League to play for Christos Kontis’s team and help it with his experience from European competitions, as the Heraklion-based club prepares for the League Phase of this year’s Europa League.
Tassos Hatzigiovannis’s contract with OFI will initially run through the end of the current soccer season, with the Greek winger traveling to Crete later today to undergo the necessary medical tests and sign his contract.”
