A full and thorough investigation into the circumstances and causes of the death of popular singer Giorgos Mazonakis at the age of 54, as requested by medical examiner and former Member of the European Parliament Marios Matsakis.
In a post on his personal Facebook account, he stated that the announcement attributing the artist’s death to cardiac arrest “is not, at first glance, satisfactory from a forensic medical standpoint.”

The medical examiner raises a series of questions that require answers in order “to establish, beyond a reasonable doubt, the exact cause of death” and to “determine whether a third party or parties bear any liability.”
