After feeling very ill, Karetsas was forced to leave Dortmund’s recent match at the start of the Champions League group stage.
Initially, the Westphalians cited a circulatory problem, but then reports surfaced that the player was dehydrated; however, tests are continuing to determine exactly what caused his condition.
“He’s doing very well; the tests will continue. He won’t play this weekend, but we’ll find out exactly what happened to him,” emphasized Dortmund’s sporting director, Ole Buk.
