Starting September 10, 2026, applications and damage reports for damage caused by tornadoes on August 16 and 29, 2026, to livestock facilities and fixed assets in the municipality of Athienou and in the communities of Kalo Chorio and VAvatsinia in the district of Larnaca. The Damage Claim forms for the Revised National Framework are available at the offices of the Larnaca District Agricultural Office, as well as in the “Damage Report Forms” section, as stated in an announcement.
Owners, tenants, or managers of the affected farms are requested to submit the properly completed Damage Declaration form no later than September 24, 2026, to the DistrictLarnaca District Agricultural Office.

The form must clearly state the details of the plot (as shown on the Area-Based Subsidy Declaration) and the details of the crop (type, variety, number of trees, and area per variety) that has been damaged. The form must be accompanied by a copy of the Application for Area-Based Subsidies submitted to the KOP for 2026.
It should be noted that in cases where harvesting is to take place immediately, representative samples must be left in place, in consultation with the officials of the District Agricultural Office.
