Santos is close to making a very important signing, with the Brazilian club just a breath away from acquiring Coutinho!

According to reports coming out of Brazil, the two sides have agreed on all terms for a contract running through the summer of 2027, and all that remains now is to make the deal official.

The 34-year-old attacking midfielder has been a free agent since last February, when he left Vasco da Gama after just seven months with the Rio de Janeiro club.

And so, the former Barcelona and Liverpool star is expected to join forces with Neymar and Rodiney at Santos, forming a trio brimming with quality and experience.

Philippe Coutinho is set to sign with Santos on a contract running through the end of 2027.

Coutinho will join as a free agent and will play alongside his friend Neymar Jr.
