There was great concern on Friday morning among Hull City fans when one of the club’s players was involved in a car accident.
According to British media reports, Shorba Thomas, under circumstances that remain unclear, lost control of his vehicle while on his way to the team’s training center, causing the £160,000 Land Rover Defender he was driving to roll over and come to a stop with its roof on the road.
The accident occurred just a few meters from Hull’s training facility, prompting many team members to rush to the scene to see what had happened, including the “Tigers’” coach, Sergei Yakirovich.
Fortunately, the 27-year-old Welsh attacking midfielder was not injured, and the team has reassured fans about the player’s condition.
However, what is surprising is the location of the accident, since the street is narrow, and residents say that the speed limit on that particular street cannot exceed 25 km/h.
