A seasonal low-pressure system is affecting the region.
Today the weather will be mostly clear, although in the afternoon locally increased cloud cover, mainly in the mountains, may bring isolated showers or even brief thunderstorms. Winds will initially be variable and light, at 3 Beaufort, before gradually shifting to southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and locally along the southern coast in the afternoon, they may reach strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will rise to around 38 degrees inland, around 34 on the southern and eastern coasts, around 32 degrees on the northern coast, 31 degrees on the western coast, and around 29 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear, though later in the evening, low clouds and light fog are expected to form locally, mainly in inland areas and the eastern half of the country. Winds will gradually shift to mainly northwesterly to northeasterly, light, at 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to around 19 degrees inland and in the higher mountainous areas, and around 21 degrees along the coast.
On Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, the weather will be generally clear, though in the afternoons there will be locally increased cloud cover, which may bring isolated showers in the mountains. Temperatures are not expected to change significantly on Sunday, but are expected to drop through Tuesday, remaining slightly above average.
