Olympiacos BC has once again demonstrated its commitment to the community, with a delegation from the team visiting the Makarios Hospital in Nicosia on Saturday morning (September 12) to visit Makarios Hospital in Nicosia.
The captain of the “Red-and-Whites,” Kostas Papanikolaou, along with Jean Montero and Cody Miller-McIntyre, visited the pediatric oncology ward, accompanied by Neophytos Chandriotis’s father, Dimitris.
The three players had the opportunity to talk with the children who are fighting their own battles, as well as with the parents and the hospital’s medical and nursing staff. They also handed out gifts they had brought with them from Athens, posed for photos with the young heroes, and signed autographs.
This visit is part of the “Neophytos Chandriotis” tournament, which is held every year in Cyprus with a special and sacred purpose. Olympiacos, through its presence alongside the family of Neophytos Chandriotis, sought to send a message of love, strength, and support to all the children and families who are fighting their own battles every day.
