A top-of-the-table clash at OAKA with a clear favorite and high stakes! Tonight at 9:30 p.m., Panathinaikos hosts Panetolikos as part of Matchday 4 of the Stoiximan Super League, with the two teams being the only ones yet to suffer a loss in this year’s league so far.
On the one hand, Panathinaikos is enjoying an exceptional run, finding its form and continuing to win, gaining—among other things—not only a boost in the standings but also a psychological boost! Jacob Nystrup’s team has shaken off most of its anxiety after achieving its first major goal of the season: qualifying for the League Phase of the Conference League.

Since then, the “clover” has been on an exceptional winning streak, with 4 out of 4 victories, having defeated Nikis Volos 1-0 in the Cup, followed by three-point wins against Kifisia, Levadiakos, and PAOK. As for the lineup, the Danish coach will be without Tsiriveyas, Christiansen, Pantelidis, and Ingason.
The full roster is as follows: Penia, Kotsaris, Chaves, Calabria, Kyriakopoulos, Tsapras, Katris, De Vrij, Van Drongelen, Palmer-Brown, Kamara, Kontouris, Kangwa, Taborda, Louza, Ounai, Jagiusic, Pelistri, Adino, Garcia, Tetei, Desers, Rastonder.
On the other side, the season may not have started in the best possible way for Panetolikos, but what followed was nothing short of a dream. The Agrinio-based team has gone on a fantastic 3-0 run, defeating Asteras AKTOR, Kalamata, and Levadiakos—results that have propelled them into first place alongside Panathinaikos.
As for the lineup, Yiannis Anastasiou will be without Smyrlis and Galiatsos and announced a 24-player roster after the team wrapped up its preseason training on Saturday.
