Nikaia, the neighborhood where Giorgos Mazonakis was born and raised, is preparing today, Sunday, September 13, to welcome him for a final, deeply moving “farewell.”

Starting at 7:30 p.m., the body of the beloved artist will lie in repose at the Holy Trinity Church of Nikaia—the church and parish that, according to his family, he loved dearly—so that friends, colleagues, and those who have followed him over the years can bid him a final farewell in person.
